I’ve been saying for years that a great way to increase endogenous growth hormone production is through strength training, especially the type that increases lactic acid.

Recent research found that when you can increase and maintain high lactate levels during training, the increase in growth hormone production can be significant.

Researchers found after 5 minutes, the growth hormone secretion increased by 55%, and after 15 minutes, it was more than 700%. These 2 levels were sustained for up to one hour. In both cases, the lactate increase was more than 10-fold.

Properly designed training programs can help you modulate the production of different hormones in the body.
