US Researchers Reveal Reduction in Negative Emotions and Pain

Mindfulness can be explained as being aware of a present experience, that could be positive or negative, and accepting it without any judging.

After giving basic training on mindfulness, and exposing the subjects to unpleasant experiences, researchers from the US found that mindful acceptance reduces behavioral and neural markers of negative emotions and pain.
