Researchers from Stanford performed what is considered the most comprehensive study on molecular changes after exercise, measuring more than 17,000 molecules, and they found what they termed an orchestrated choreography of biological processes, in a symphony-like pattern.
Something that intrigued the researchers was the finding that in subjects with insulin resistance, the inflammation and immune response were reduced.
