Fructose and Behavioral Disorders

Fructose and Behavioral Disorders

I have talked before about the detrimental effects of fructose on human health and researchers from Colorado give us even more evidence to stay away from fructose.

They found that fructose intake and uric acid, which is a metabolite of fructose, trigger behavioral disorders like:

  • Hyperactivity
  • Cravings
  • Aggression
  • Risk taking

Researchers mentioned that this is also seen with high glycemic carbohydrates and salty foods.
