Organic Food & Cognitive Function
Pollution and the food we consume significantly affects our bodies and brains. Researchers from Spain found how important the consumption of organic, nutrient-rich, and unprocessed foods is for the brain.
They found that children who ate organic food displayed higher scores in fluid intelligence and working memory.
They also found that tobacco smoke can decrease fluid intelligence, and poor indoor air quality decreases working memory.
