Exercise & Memory
Science has shown that exercise improves brain function and, on this occasion, researchers from Geneva tested the acute effect of different forms of exercise on motor learning and memory. The choices of exercise were moderate intensity and high-intensity cycling.
As expected, the scientists found that both forms of exercise improved motor learning memory by increasing neural plasticity and that the higher the intensity of the exercise, the higher the activation in the hippocampus, which is the region of the brain responsible for memory.
As I have always mentioned, exercise is not only great for the body but also for the brain!
